Wanderers to seal Jeffren move…(and other targets)

Bolton Wanderers are inching closer to the signing of the Summer with their bid to sign Barcelona starlet Jeffren Suarez. A host of clubs are said to be interested in the very highly rated attacker but Bolton seem to be leading the pack.

If Bolton can offer Suarez the right personal terms then we could see him leave the Spanish giants in favour of a four year contract at the Reebok! It had been thought that the idea of a permanent transfer would fall through for the trotters leaving them with a loan option at best.

Expect some confirmation in the Jeffren move to be made public on Monday – a little later than I originally expected.

Bolton Wanderers’ other transfer news could also prove interesting with the liklehood of landing Daniel Sturridge for another season becoming a real prospect. Chelsea are chasing the signature of another 15 million pound striker to add to competition at Stamford Bridge. All this could mean Sturridge is pushed further down the pecking order which will certainly not live up to his demands for first team football. Add to that Coyle’s close personal relationship with the new Chelsea gaffer and we could see a front line that’s one half Chelsea.

Bolton could see their front line half Man Utd and half Chelsea if they manage to land Danny Welbeck on loan along with Daniel Sturridge. Whether or not Bolton will go  for two loan options up front remains to be seen, and seems quite unlikely, but it would be interesting and exciting non the less.

Reo Coker could link up with Bolton now that they have finished their American adventure and signing the versatile player on a free would be a huge boost to Wanderers’ midfiled options.

If all these signings come off together I would be a very impressed man – it’s unlikely – but who knows?
