Big Sam to be named as WHU boss!

28May11

Sam Allardyce is set to take over as manager of West Ham United. Expect to hear the announcement tomorrow (Saturday).

Avram Grant was finally relieved of his duties at Upton Park after taking the club down into the Championship, Allardyce will be charged with the duty of securing an immediate return to the Premier League for the club. If the former Bolton boss manages to secure promotion he will be reward with a bonus which will double his annual salary from 1 million to 2 million pounds.

Allardyce became a free agent after he was sacked from his role at Blackburn when new owners took over the club. Blackburn survived relegation by the skin of their teeth after a dramatic final day of the season saw them edge to safety.
