Bolton Target scores half way line winner!

Darren Pratley, a player on Bolton Wanderers shopping list, last night scored a 50 yard wonder goal to cement Swansea City’s place in the Championship play off final.

As Nottingham Forest pushed players up looking for an equalizer, including their keeper, Pratley pounced on a loose ball and sprinted forward to the halfway line before dispatching a long range Beckham-esque effort into the empty Forest goal. Pratley had earlier missed a complete sitter when he headed the ball, unchallenged, wide of the mark from 5 yards out. Pratley had also looked to be lacking pace in comparison to other Championship players, especially considering he arrived on the scene as a second half substitute.

Pratley looks like he is not the finished article as yet and would need to work on his pace and passing to be up to scratch for next season in the Premiership be it with Bolton or Swansea should they win promotion. Some sources claim that Pratley is already promised to Bolton on a pre-contract agreement.
