BWFC Transfer News – 4 or 5 players on their way…

25Jan11

Bolton Wanderers are ready to seal the deal with winger Sean Wright Phillips according to several reports.
It would be a great move by the Reebok boss who is desperate for good wingers in his preferred 442 approach.

Wanderers are making a move on Swansea City player Darren Pratley this week after talks at his current club were put on hold.
Pratley is considered a good prospect, and if Coyle can secure a permanent deal for the midfielder it would create real competition in the Bolton ranks.

Carlos Vela should go to Bolton acording to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
Wenger has a good relationship with Bolton Wanderers and says he would prefer the highly rated striker to make a loan move to a Premier League club
rather than see him move to Spain. However Vela is still tempted by Spanish offers but could be pushed toward Bolton if Wenger can influence the move.

Owen Coyle is looking to secure the services of French Defender Jeremy Morel in a cut price deal in the next week or so.
Sources say Coyle would like to bring in the defender in January before his contract expires in the Summer. Morel is currently captain of Lorient in France and
Bolton could face competition from Blackburn Rovers and other French clubs for his signature.

Johan Elmander could be on the shopping list of Newcastle United.
The international forward has been linked with a number of clubs, the latest being Newcastle after an impressive start to the season saw him score 10 goals
in 20 games*. Elmander has since gone off the boil though as his team have slumped to several defeats.
