Half time – Blackpool lead at the Reebok – Report

27Nov10

Half time at the Reebok see’s Blackpool going into the dressing room with a 1-0 advantage. Bolton have looked dangerous on the attack though and were on the front foot for most of the first half.

The Blackpool manager will be more than happy with his side’s performance so far and his side have been far from overawed by high-flying Bolton. The Wanderers did dominate proceedings for the first half an hour but it was Blackpool who broke the deadlock in the 28th minute when Ian Evett rose in the box to head home from a corner kick. Moments earlier DJ Campbell had his effort deflected wide off Bolton’s Zat Knight.

Bolton have had their fair share of chances too with Elmander, Mark Davies and Matt Taylor all registering good efforts. Elmander again looks lively for the trotters and Mark Davies, in for Holden, has had a great first half and is looking very positive. So far, despite nine efforts, Bolton are yet to score. It could have been worse for Bolton if Charlie Adam’s speculative 45 yard chip had not landed on the roof of the Bolton net.

At half time Blackpool lead by a goal to nil but Bolton are very much in the game.

– estimated end score ?
If Bolton come out playing in the same way for the next 45 mins it is only a matter of time before they score one, or even two I would think. Blackpool though, are also looking very positive and I would not be shocked if they got another as Bolton press forward for an equaliser. I would like to go for a Bolton win, but, with Blackpool in the lead as it stands, I’m saying 2-2.
