Elmander tempted by offers!

25Nov10

In form Bolton front man Johan Elmander could be tempted by offers to move away from the Reebok in January as Bolton look to extend his current deal which runs out at the end of this season. If Bolton fail to secure an extension or sell in January Elmander would leave on a free transfer in the Summer.

During an interview Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle seemed uncertain of being able to hold onto the striker and when asked about keeping him at the club Coyle said, “If an elite club came in for him, it’s only natural to turn your head at that.”  When asked, “Do you get good vibes that he will stay?” Coyle responded with, “I get good vibes that he is enjoying his football and playing with a smile on his face.”

If Elmander did leave on a free Bolton would lose out on the 8 million pounds it cost to bring him to the club. Elmander was also a high earner at the club but proved to be a flop in his first two seasons. For Bolton Wanderers it would be best to keep him at Bolton but if rumours are to be believed then he coould be on the way out!
