Bolton Wanderers go for Two Million Pound former England under 21

15Aug10

It is understood that Bolton Wanderers chief, Owen Coyle, is looking to bolster his defence with the capture of former England U-21 defender Matthew Kilgallon.

Kilgallon would cost in the region of 2 million pounds and would strengthen a Bolton defence which leaked goals too often last season. The defender, now 26, is also targeted by Championship side Middlesbrough. Kilgallon is still recovering from a muscle injury but is now back in full training with his current side Sunderland.
