Wanderers Striker Target Signs in £6 Million Move (for Benfica)

Real Madrid have raked in £6 million pounds from Benfica for the signing of youngster Rodrigo Moreno.

Bolton miss out on the talented striker after a long wait which was ended today. It was thought that Moreno might follow ex team-mate Alonso to the Reebok after he signed for Owen Coyle’s men several days ago. Moreno was also linked with a move to Benfica but opted instead for Bolton and is hoping for a chance of first team action. Rodrigo though opted to sign for Benfica on a five-year deal in a transfer worth around £6 million.

Bolton, meanwhile, will now have to turn their attentions elsewhere and it is believed Ivan Klasnic could be Reebok bound again since his release from Nantes. A permanent deal could be tied up as soon as Monday for the striker but the main stumbling block could be his wage demands.

  1. It’s not easy for Bolton to compete with a team participating in Champions league. At the end of the day, the player was amazed at the opportunity to play in lesser league, but in a top team there which plays in europe. If you have noticed, many smaller leagues are able to bring in players with lure of europe.

How could it be a loan deal for klasnic since he’s just got released?
