Bolton Wanderers V Lincoln City (Snow)

02Jan10

According to BBC News the FA Cup clash between Bolton Wanderers and Licoln City is to go ahead as planned. Drivers are advised to set off early in order to avoid delays as snow is now covering the ground throughout the North West.  The area surrounding the Reebok Stadium is expected to be particularly badly affected due to it’s proximity to Winter Hill.

Many Wanderers fans are anticipating this Cup game to be the start of a new era after an unhappy spell under Gary Megson. The Wanderers caretakers are keeping their cards close to their chests as regards team selection but it would be surprising if they made too many changes to the regular starting line up.

72 places separate the two clubs in the English League but with unpredictable conditions and the magic of the FA Cup anything could happen today.

Why it was right to sack Megson!
